About us

Friends in Faith Community Church is more than a church, it’s a family. A family of believers who are learning together what it means to follow Christ. We are glad you are interested in learning more about our church. We invite you to explore our site to find out more about the people who go here and the Christ we serve.

Here are some of the things that are important to us.

Relationships  Your relationship to God and your relationship to others and your relationship to the world around you. Jesus summarized how we are to live with two simple commands; that we love the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and that we love others as we love ourselves. We believe we can best learn and serve in community. Let’s spur one another on towards love and good deeds as Hebrews 10:24 commands us.

Authenticity  We are not pretending to have it all together. If you expect church to be a perfect place full of perfect people, then FIFCC isn’t the best choice for you. We are full of broken people who Christ is putting back together in order to create something beautiful. We are real people in a real relationship with a real God and we believe this reality creates a culture that promotes real change.

Growth  We have people in all different points in their Christian journey. Some are brand new to the faith and some are mature believers. We even have those who have yet to commit their lives to Christ, and are simply here exploring what Christianity is all about. We welcome all walks of life at FIFCC because we believe God has a plan and purpose for every life. We want everyone to be growing in their faith and taking the next step to grow closer to Christ. We provide opportunities for everyone to grow and serve and learn. As we follow Christ together, we become more and more like Christ in our thoughts, character, attitudes, and actions.

What to expect

Here are the answers to frequent questions about FIFCC:

At Friends in Faith, we have people from all walks of life. The bible tells us that man looks on the outward appearance but God looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7.) Most people dress comfortably and we are not concerned with trying to impress each other. We are more concerned about honoring God by the way we live. Our hearts, therefore, are more important than our apparel.

FIFCC offers a great experience for all children, infants through 5th grade to learn in their own age-appropriate environment on Sunday mornings. We are a family friendly church and your children are welcome to join you for the service, but we have passionate teachers who work hard to prepare Biblical lessons each week that challenge our Kingdom Kids to honor God with their lives.

Our main goal is to honor God. Our style is mostly contemporary worship music, with some traditional hymns and choruses blended in from time to time.
